Diana Ruth James (California State Bar #294290) is a lifelong resident of the South Bay. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Vanguard University, before attending Whittier Law School in Orange County, CA, where she won numerous scholarships and awards.
Diana was also a volunteer Fellow at the Center for Children’s Rights and by combining her law background and experience working at the Children’s Advocacy Clinic, she brings a unique level of compassion and care to each and every one of her clients.
In addition to working as a privately retained counsel, her appointments as a Public Defender has given Diana keen insight to the criminal justice system and an eagerness for helping defendants who would otherwise be taken advantage of simply because they could not afford a private attorney. District Attorneys seldom read a police report they do not agree with and are keen for a conviction without doing any further investigation. Make them earn it.
